ABOUT THIS SITE

The objective of the Youth, training and employment site is to report the multiple efforts implemented in the region by those training institutions, ministries and agents that do have direct competence in policy design, planning, execution and/or evaluation, programmes or projects address to youth.

It looks for improving the information flow generated by youth training and employment programmes in Latin America by means of a comunication, exchange and learning space; to increase quality, relevance and equity of the refered programmes through the study of learned lessons from implemented actions; to favour the exchange and discussion of vulnerable youth groups under the thematic among different involved actors in the region as a way to contribute to improve labour market entry and in equal conditions; and to contribute to heritage.

The Web site would allow the accumulation and exchange of information and the interaction between the different speakers by means of its different sections:

Experiences: European programmes

Documents: containing interesting publications for the target audience of the site, classified, in the first place, according to its editor: ILO/Cinterfor and bibliographical news.

Statistical data: Allows an approach to youth situation regarding employment by means of the main indicators.
