TRADE UNION WITH YOUTH

This site is devoted to trade union activities in relation to youth. This page seeks to be a place for the exchange of information and documentation on workers’ organisations activities with and for youth. Our idea is not merely to create a billboard of documents and experiences where the visitor has access to information but to count with contributions, collaboration and interaction of those that from the trade union movement, and from organisations close to it, are concerned with youth problems in terms of work, education and vocational training.

From the wide scope of problems and challenges related to the world of work and vocational training that youth must face this page will devote particular attention to the following issues:

Trade union documents and publications about youth

Links to youth pages on trade union websites

  • Vocational Training and Further Education Programmes for youth managed by trade unions.
  • Trade Union Training for youth.
  • Youth Employment policies promoted by trade unions.
  • Youth affiliation to trade unions campaigns and actions.
  • Creation and organisation of youth commissions in national and international trade unions.

  • Creation of cooperation networks among youth trade union members.

These are loosely the topics that the site will cover. Remember that the quality and development of this site dependes on you too. You are welcome!
