The Social Service of Transport - SEST and
the National Training Service of Transport - SENAT are nonprofit
civil entities, created in 14 of September of 1993, by the Law
nº 8,706/93 and conducted by the National Confederation
of Transport - CNT. The entities are organized by the applicable
legal disposals, its Social Statutes and other complementary
normative act approved by its Deliberative Bodies.
The Social Service of Transport - SEST and the National Training
Service of Transport - SENAT, as well as the Institute of Transport
Development - IDT, are component entities of the CNT System.
Mission
SEST/SENAT's mission is to develop and to spread
the culture of the transport, permanent searching for improving
the transportation workers quality of life, and professional
performance.
Vision
To reach a superior platform of performance we present the
following characteristcs:
- Focus in the market;
- Intensive use of information technology and mass communication;
- Corporate governance;
- Institutional transparency.

Among its services it has an Assistance and Professional Centre
(Banco
de talentos) for the transport worker where it offers basic
medical, eye and dental care as well as cultural and sports activities
among others.
