With a social and cultural act, the National Training Service (SENA)
celebrated on 21 June its 49 years of free Vocational Training.
The event gathered students, civil servants, SENA's community in general,
representatives from diplomatic missions accredited in the country and
representatives from important educational entities at an international
level, who also took the celebration to praise the work done by SENA
in its process of human resources training for enterprises.
During the formal act, recognition plates were awarded to SENA's Director
General Darío Montoya Mejía for his work by important
international educational institutions such as the Ecuadorian Occupational
Training Service (SECAP), the National Industrial Training Service of
Brazil (SENAI) and SLV of Germany.
Additionally, the launching of the official logo that will be used
as the corporative image during the celebration of SENA's fifty years
was made.
Guests and visitors could enjoy an exhibition of folk dances by the
dance group of the Capital District Regional Office.
