INSAFORP. Training guide to plan and carry
out events related to a system of standardisation and certification
of labour competencies.
1st edition. El Salvador: INSAFORP, 2005. 31p.
A System of Standardisation and Certification of Labour Competencies,
SSCLC, would work through a Regulating Body - as well as other entities
involved - by carrying out several events in which different actors
of the system take part.
The appropriate operation of the system and its degree of social and
entrepreneurial approval depend to a large extend on the proper development
of such events, which can range from an informative conference to raise
awareness in entrepreneurs to a meeting between an assessor and a candidate
to labour competency certification.
This document is a training guide that provides general orientation
to the execution of the main events related to the operation of the
SSCLC, which is based on the experiences obtained during the pilot test
of labour competency standardisation and certification carried out in
the Republic of El Salvador between 2002 and 2003.
This document is divided into two broad learning activities: the first
one tackles the general aspects of preparation, organisation and direction
of events, as well as the follow-up of agreements and commitments agreed
during their execution. The second part refers to the particular aspects
that need to be taken into account in order to carry out each of the
main events involved in the operation of the SSCLC.
